Lamar University Welcome Center Experience Life at LU: Select a date on the calendar to view options for daily campus tours and college specific tours. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email and reminder emails leading up until your scheduled tour. A shaded RED calendar indicates that at least one campus visit option is available on that date. Others may already be booked. Tour Details The walking tour will last approximately 90 minutes and will be guided by a current Welcome Center LU Crew member which is a current Lamar University student. Guest traveling to campus should plan to arrive on campus 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour time. Current students guide campus tours and are available only during the arranged tour time. Late arrival may result in a modified campus tour, or the cancellation of the campus tour and/or other previously scheduled activities. Tour Stops Highlights include stops at the residence halls, Science & Technology, Rec Sports Center, Setzer Student Center, Reaud Honor's College and many other campus landmarks.
