Experience Life at LU:Select a date on the calendar to view options for group tours. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email and reminder emails leading up until your scheduled tour.
A shaded RED calendar indicates that at least one campus visit option is available on that date. Others may already be booked. Guided Tour Details - High School and Older Groups - Explore what it is like to eat, sleep, study and get involved at LU during an admissions presentation and 90 minute walking tour.
- Admissions presentation will be given by a Lamar University Admission Counselor. Campus tour will be guided by a Welcome Center LU Crew member which is a current Lamar University student.
- Groups require a minimum of 8 people, with a maximum of 50.
- Guest traveling to campus should plan to arrive on campus 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour time. Current students guide campus tours and are available only during the arranged tour time. Late arrival may result in a modified campus tour, or the cancellation of the campus tour and/or other previously scheduled activities.
Self-Guided Tour Details - 8th Grade and Younger Groups - Explore what it is like to eat, sleep, study and get involved at LU during a programmed self guided campus tour. LU Welcome Center will supply a tour route covering and describing campus landmarks, academic resources, living and dining options, and more.
- Groups do not require a minimum or maximum number of guests.
- There is no required arrival or departure time set for self-guided group tours.
Tour Stops Highlights include stops at the residence halls, Science & Technology, Rec Sports Center, Setzer Student Center, Reaud Honor's College and many other campus landmarks. |
